Bloomberg: Bitcoin course shaky, Ripple XRP, Tron, Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance Coin, Monero, IOTA updates

Here is a quick overview of what's new in the world of cryptocurrencies. We look at Bitcoin's short-term prospects and find out what Litecoin founder Charlie Lee thinks about mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. There are also other interesting topics around Ethereum, IOTA, Monero and other cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin Course

A technical indicator to calculate daytime volatility seems to indicate that Bitcoin is almost overbought. This emerges from a new analysis by Bloomberg. For example, the indicator “GTI Global Strength” is expected to predict a possible dip in Bitcoin's price. Bitcoin had already shown a similar course over the past month and then dropped 3% within two weeks.

The CEO of London blockchain investment company KR1, George McDonaugh, agreed with the analysis. He explained:

“It's time for a new lower limit test. Usually, a market tests the depths of desperation more than once. So far, we just had a clear test that ran at around $ 3,100. “

Ethereum Course

The latest issue of the newsletter “EthHub Weekly” has been released. It deals with all topics related to Ethereum and the larger crypto environment. It also contains news on the new developments at 0x, Etherscan and MakerDAO. Additionally there is an interview with the founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin.

Ripple Labs and Ripple XRP

Crypto friend “Hodor” has released a new review of recent developments in Ripple Labs and Ripple XRP. In it, he deals with monetization opportunities for Kreative, Coil and an initiative to give XRP tips via Skype.

Litecoin Course

Litecoin creator Charlie Lee said in an interview with NewsBTC on mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. He explained that, in his opinion, it was two things that made it difficult to accept cryptocurrencies. Lee cited the volatility of the crypto markets and storage issues as the main reasons. So it was said:

“Because crypto courses are so volatile, it is difficult for people to really use them [cryptocurrencies], making it difficult to guess. Volatility is a kind of predicament. As soon as there is an assumption, the volatility decreases, which in turn favors the assumption. This is a slow process (…) “

Next, NewsBTC quoted him as follows:

“(…) So people use crypto exchanges to keep their coins because they can not keep them themselves. That's easy, but you also hear the stories about hacking attacks on crypto exchanges. That really hurts the assumption. Therefore, we probably only have to offer better and simpler solutions that allow people to save their own money. “

Binance Coin Course

The crypto Binance has announced that they want to use a lottery system in the future. This is to decide which users can participate in token sales. This refers to sales made via the Binance Launchpad. The chosen lottery system should replace the former “first come, first served” principle.

With the new system, users can have up to five lottery tickets. The number is determined by the amount of Binance Coins they hold within a period of 20 days prior to the lottery.
