Coincheck (coin check) of a major cryptocurrency exchange had suspended cryptocurrency trading and deposit / withdrawal for a long time due to the massive hacking damage that occurred in January this year. Although it was the company which became under umbrella of the Monex Group in April and aimed to resume service, it was officially announced on 26th, and it became clear that the transaction of all currencies including XRP and FCT resumed .

Coincheck suffered nearly 60 billion yen due to NEM’s illegal remittance incident on January 26, 2018. Immediately afterwards all services except Bitcoin and Japanese yen withdrawal are suspended. For the stolen NEM we compensated in-house.

In April, it was bought by Monex Group for 3.6 billion yen, aiming to resume the original service of the new management system.
