Ledger Nano S now supports Binance Chain main net and DEX

Hardware wallet leader Ledger announced that its flagship product, Ledger Nano S, is compatible with Binance Chain .

Exciting news! The Ledger Nano S is compatible with the @Binance Coin Mainnet. You can access your $ BNB through the @Binance_DEX platform, allowing you to keep your private keys offline, yet use the platform to trade.

Ledger emphasizes the need for a decentralized exchange and reports on its blog that Binance has supported Binance Chain mainnet and Binance DEX launched on the 23rd.

The Ledger Nano S will be the first hardware wallet compatible with Binance Chain , allowing users to access BNB wallets using the same product as well as trading on DEX.

The usage of Ledger Nano S in Binance DEX is as follows.

  1. Access this page
  2. Select “Unlock Your Wallet” and select “Ledger Device”
  3. Launch the Binance Chain app on Ledger Nano S and select “Connect to Ledger”.
  4. Select the address you want to use in Binance DEX

“We are delighted to be able to provide Ledger’s security support now that Binance’s Decentralized Exchange has launched,” said Eric Larchev queque of Ledger.
