Monex Group and Nasdaq invest approximately 3.1 billion yen in cryptocurrency exchange ErisX

The cryptocurrency exchange ErisX announced that it bought about 3.1 billion yen in Series B from Monex Group and Nasdaq Ventures and others.

ErisX is a cryptocurrency exchange that is receiving support from major trading companies and financial institutions, aiming to provide a highly transparent and reliable platform with the approval of CFTC (American Commodity Futures Trading Commission).

This fund raising is also received from BITMAIN, ConsenSys (consensus), Fidelity Investments, and further funds are received from existing partners such as Pantera Capital and the CTC group.

After receiving CFTC approval, ErisX plans to offer in-kind trading and futures trading of Bitcoin, affiliate, light coin from next year.

According to Mr. Thomas Chippas, CEO of the company, this financing will be used to hire employees , build infrastructure , and build appropriate regulatory markets for virtual currencies .
