MoneyTap is an interpersonal remittance application that SBI Ripple Asia announced its development at the end of last year. Originally, Sumitomo SBI Net Bank, Suruga Bank, and Resona Bank were supposed to support the service.

The app leverages Ripple’s xCurrent and enables instant remittances between accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, it has a function that you can transfer money to the other party from the phone number or QR code.
