Whereas traditional ZCash transactions required about 1.5 gigabytes of computer memory, only 40 megabytes is required for Sapling’s address.

Also, it took about 40 seconds for the processing time of the transaction, and it is said that the processing is completed in a few seconds with the new address.

ZCash has also announced that it has set the amount of remittance to be disclosed when transferring assets from old address to new address in order to audit ZEC’s holdings on all Sapling addresses.

The new address is already available on the ZCash client and it is expected that other users’ asset transfer will be carried out sequentially.
